About Tally K9
My name is Sheldon Hirschuber and I am the Owner/Operator of Tally K9 Boarding & Training LLC. I have held quite a few roles in my life—Psychological Operations Sergeant in the Army, Nuclear Medicine Technologist and Executive Protection Agent, to name a few. All said and done, though, my passion is for dogs, especially working breeds.
“Do what you love and you’ll never work a day” is my current motto. To me, there is nothing more fun or rewarding than watching a dog and their owner learn and grow together as a team. I do not claim to be the best trainer out there—there are many excellent trainers—but we are often a last stop for troubled or aggressive dogs that other trainers turn away.
An Honest and Realistic Approach
Here at Tally K9 we take an honest and realistic approach to life and business. We understand that each relationship is unique, so whether it is a teacup Yorkie that is terrified of everything or a pit bull that tears up the house every day while you are at work, give us a call or email. We would love to talk about how to address the unwanted behavior.
If you only decide to board with us, know that your dog will be treated as our own. We run a tight ship and use risk assessments and structured procedures so every dog in our care can have a good time in an environment built around safety.
