Beginning in May 2027, Tally K9 plans to operate a new 3,500-square-foot facility at 75 East Osprey Lane in Monticello, Florida.
Built for Comfort
The facility is designed with redundant power and air conditioning plus 24/7 temperature and video monitoring to help ensure every dog remains safe and comfortable.
Private Suites
Each dog has a private suite when not participating in supervised activity. The largest setup includes a private 4′ × 6′ indoor area and a 4′ × 15′ outdoor area.
We believe in a lower-stress environment, so dogs have access to a soft bed, water, toys and the ability to watch “Dog TV.” Our boarding options are flexible, and we welcome high-energy working breeds at no additional charge.
Dogs that are not spayed or neutered may be accepted, although that can limit group play. In many cases, females in heat can also be boarded in a separate area away from the main building. Discounts may be available for extended or frequent stays.
What is a day like?
Pickup
If your dog rides the “Drool Bus,” the day usually starts with breakfast, a potty break and a drive to the pickup location. The route is planned to keep ride time to roughly an hour or less.
Morning
After arrival, dogs settle in their private suites, have access to water and their outdoor area, and get time for breakfast to settle. Social dogs may participate in supervised indoor/outdoor group play. Dogs that are not in group play receive individual activity with a toy or ball. Groups are generally kept small and organized by compatible size and temperament.
Lunch Time
Dogs take a cool-down and lunch break. Outdoor access may be briefly closed during this period so everyone can rest and avoid overheating. Board-and-train dogs then complete their individual training, often around controlled distractions.
Drop Off
At the end of the day, dogs riding the “Drool Bus” are loaded and returned to their pickup locations—usually ready for a quiet evening at home.
