Our Facility
Starting in early May 2026 we will have completed construction on a brand new 3,500sqft facility located at 75 East Osprey Lane in Monticello, FL. This facility has redundant power and A/C as well as 24/7 temperature and video monitoring to ensure your Dog is always safe and comfortable. Each dog has their own private suite when not in group play with our largest size being a private 4′ x 6′ indoor, 4′ x 15′ outdoor area. We believe in a stress free environment so all dogs have access to a soft bed, water, toys and the ability to watch “Dog TV”.
Our boarding options are pretty flexible. Prices start at $40 for any 24 hour period with our weekly packages. We will board high energy working breeds (at no extra charge) and will also accept dogs that are not spayed/neutered, although it may limit the group play to some extent. In most cases we can also board females that are in heat as we have a separate area away from the main building. Discounts are available for extended or frequent stays so please CONTACT US if this is the case.
***All dogs must be vaccinated for: Rabies, DHPP/DAPP and Bordetella. We also highly recommend the Leptospirosis and some form of Flea/Tick prevention***
What’s a day like?
PICKUP
If your dog rides on the “Drool Bus” then typically their day starts out with you feeding them breakfast, a potty break and then car ride to the bus stop.
Your dog will take a ride with us (max is about an hour) to pick up some of it’s friends and then arrive at the boarding facility in Monticello.
MORNING
After arriving the dogs are placed in their respective suites (in order of who was on bus first) and given time to let breakfast settle and get a little water. During this time they are also allowed open access to their private outdoor area as well to run around and potty if they didn’t go earlier.
During the rest of the morning dogs that are proven social are allowed a couple hours of supervised indoor/outdoor group play with one another prior to lunch break. Any dogs that are not in group play will get one-on-one time with a ball or toy during this time. We strive to have a safe, yet fun environment so most groups are 6 or less and by similar weight.
LUNCH TIME
After play time we take a break for lunch to wind down and feed anyone who needs lunch. During this time we close off the outside areas for a little while as well so the dogs get a solid cool down period to avoid overheating.
Once lunch is over we start the training of our dogs in the board and train program. This is usually done in the presence of the other dogs to maximize distractions. We try to keep things fun and exciting so no one gets bored.
DROP OFF
By the time we are done with training its already time to pack everyone up and head out. Dogs are loaded up into the “Drool Bus” and dropped off at their respective locations, usually pretty tuckered out too.
